It has been awhile since posting—still recovering from my leg surgeries. The North Cascades Park has 2 fires burning currently– both I think are being fully suppressed ( which kinda of surprises me given how remote
they are ) One is at Luna camp above Big Beaver and the other is on and beyond the Canadian border — called Border 1 & 2. They have merged apparently. I think Deso would have a look at both especially the Border ones.
And I was walking thru our local bookstore and was surprised to see a new Fire Lookout book ” Struck “. I haven’t read it at all ….but will start it soon…….. She was posted on the Clearwater. bruce
